[There's a long pause with nothing but silence as Laura debates saying anything at all. Finally, she decides on speaking.]

Why am I here? What is our purpose here? Do we have a mission?

[If he had been drinking anything, the contents would be sprayed all over his clean room. Thankfully he was spared the indignity as he had no drink nearby. He does, however, stare at the phone for a moment, trying to determine if the voice was who he thought it was.

I have many more questions than concrete answers.

What I do know is that you are in a place called Bell Pointe. Crossing the boundary of the town will eventually send you back to Bell Pointe. Somehow. We're allotted food, clothing, shelter, all for free.

I don't know the cause, the purpose, or who's responsible.
