Day 59 | Phone Call: All | Noon

May 03, 2011 10:59

It's really nice outside today. Think the weather is going to keep on getting nicer? And no more monsters from the mist or in the hospital like some whacked out horror movie...

[She coughs a little.]Anyway, does anyone know if our library has an occult section? Or a cooking section... or could someone teach me to cook? Dad usually made everything ( Read more... )

Cooking's not too hard. I'm not exactly a five-star chef but I could teach you what I know, if you like.

Okay. I'll teach you some of the stuff I used to make when I gave my wife a break from cooking. It's all pretty simple.

[oh shit, occult? Vergil's actually interested in this phone call.]

The library has a wide array of books on the occult. Mostly fictional stories.

Do you think half of the stuff that gets published about the occult is real? Maybe a handful, but you get what you can get, you know...

Anyway, when does the library even open? I'd like to take a look.

Seeing as my heritage would be what is considered occult, I do believe in most of it. Although, there are some things even I will not venture to strain my imagination for.

Hm. ...Seeing as I live there, I suppose you may come anytime between the hours of 8 AM to midnight.

My... some things I've dealt with in the past... not even a kid could believe it. But anyway, a lot of it just sounds like the stuff better suited for B movies.

[Wait... wait, did he say he lives at the library?]

You really live there? But why? I mean the houses aren't that bad even with the zombie maids and all that junk. But seriously, you live at the library?

Um. If you need help, I do know how to cook-though it might not be what you're used to.

What's the occult, exactly?

Dad and me would eat all sorts of things. But... learning to cook anything is fine by me.

You don't know what occult is? Seriously? It's stuff on the paranormal! Ghosts, demons, things that go bump in the night.

All right! I can teach you a few things, easy to make, quick to do.

Um...r-really? Hahahaha...

That would be better than eating ramen all day!

Yeah, you really didn't know that?

The librarian said they've got a pretty big selection. When are you heading over there?

As soon as I can.

The library has everything! A lot of books were damaged in the flood, though.

I remember, I tried to help save some. I just didn't see how big the occult section was.

I prefer the fiction and philosophy sections, but I could have a look.

I'll probably be over there later anyway. But thanks in advanced.
