Who: Ashlin and Tim When: Day 78, late morning Where: Coffee Shop What: Coffee and an attempt at cheering up Rating: I can't imagine this being anything more than PG
Tim had suggested the coffee shop simply because he knew where it was and knew it was open. Upon arriving there he remembered that he actually didn't like coffee. Fortunately the store had a vast supply of sugary coffee substitutes, namely caramel and butterscotch. Tim's iced coffee drink looked a bit thick and chunky but tasted delicious. Especially since he was forced to drink it with a spoon.
He hadn't actually met Ashlin in person but when he saw the girl in the purple hat he assumed it was her, being the only two people in there anyway, and cheerfully waved from his booth by the window.
Trotting over to Tim she gave a little wave. "Hello." She did her best to give him a smile but it came out a strained, rather unlike her usual bright smile. If it had just been Michael leaving she thought she'd likely have been able to overcome it but it seemed to be just one thing after another lately. She slide into her seat, as Bo-Bo floated around Tim curiously. Bo-Bo payed particular attention to his drink, and beneath the table Ashlin had to pull on one of his tendrils to remind the sugar addict to behave himself. She barely managed to stop herself from glaring at the Shadow over Tim's shoulder.

"Hey." He grinned and took another spoonful of what used to be coffee. "This place is much nicer now that it's not all foggy and dismal out there."
