She heard the door open and close, and turned to see Hana with his eyes closed. The moment passed without her saying anything, just watching, because the poor guy looked so exhausted.

After a few moments, he opened his eyes. Though still clearly tired, he did his best to give her a small smile.
"Miss Elaine. How are your wings?"

She tilts her head to one side, crossing her arms, and doesn't get up from the chair yet. "And you? You look exhausted."

"I-I haven't been sleeping well. I think it's the stress." He looked sheepish, and rubbed the back of his neck. "With the latest...well..I-I'm having a hard time. N-not ac-accepting it bu-but...it's a...what's the saying? When you can't take anymore?"

Aziraphale hadn't intended to leave the house at all; he'd much rather have stayed home to grieve the loss of a man he'd never even met, and had only spoken to a single time, but Crowley had practically dragged him out to the car and he was in no mood to protest. Now, he was sitting apart from the rest of the people at the bar, mulling over how things could have been different if he'd only been more steadfast in his own decision.
