Wesker had said something about dusk, but it was really hard to tell when the entire day had been night. So Hope figured that arriving early would be better than arriving late- they might leave him behind otherwise.

And he wasn't weak. He huffed a bit remembering the emails about how it was dangerous. Most likely the others just didn't want him outside or in their way, right? Still! He could help.

He still had his magic, anyway, if things go awry. Best if he didn't have to use it, though. It didn't matter if the people here weren't from Cocoon or Gran Pulse, so they didn't discriminate against l'Cie... he just didn't want to be different. It had been a long time since someone not l'Cie had looked at him like he was a normal teenage boy.

So he flopped down on the hospital steps, chin in his hands, feeling the comfortable weight of his boomerang in his pouch, and waited.

With the way that the moon had been hanging in the sky for the entire day, Lightning didn't see "dusk" happening any time soon. She compensated, though; switching her tactic to watching the clock, and heading to the hospital around the general time that dusk had taken place the day prior.

She was both surprised and impressed to see Hope already at the location, sitting on the stairs. Lightning was probably the only person here who knew what the boy was truly capable of. It also went the other way; that he was the only one she really trusted (at least, for now), and was glad to know he'd be coming along-- he was smart, reliable, and very formidable with his arsenal of magic. It didn't mean that she wasn't still worried for his well-being, though. Especially seeing as the enemies they were to face were said to be extremely dangerous.

Approaching the stairs, Lightning wordlessly sat next to Hope on a lower step, resting her forearm on her knee.

"Didn't know you'd be joining the hunting party."

He looks up at her with a smile, still elated that she was there with him. He had told himself in the first ten days that it was useless wanting someone with him, since he couldn't do anything about being trapped in Bell Pointe, anyway. He still wasn't entire if this entire town wasn't just one giant dream on crystal stasis, but either way, he was glad to have her there.

"Of course I'm joining. Got to help you somehow, right?"

Jaime, too, had been watching the clock; he arrived at the hospital shortly after Lightning did, opting to land nearby and walk towards the group instead of flying straight at them. He felt like it was better not to draw attention to himself--at least not now.

In his head, the Scarab clicked. It was anxious, almost.

"It'll be fine," he murmured. Jaime sincerely hoped it would be, anyway: this would be the first time he'd transformed since arriving in this town, and he wasn't sure whether the Scarab had managed to patch itself up or not. Neither of them were, really.

He reasoned that he wouldn't be alone. At least there were others here, others who could also fight, in case he wasn't as much help as he thought. They'd be fine.

But would HE be fine...?

Jaime finally reached the stairs and gave Lightning and Hope a small wave. (He recognized Hope. At least there was a familiar face.) "Is this everybody?"

Wesker had been much too busy going over notes and experimenting with what he had remembered of his initial research to really pay attention to the fact that the moon had not seemed to fallen. In fact, he had stayed up all night again, so when he did take a quick glance outside, he had thought nothing more than it was still in the early hours of the morning. He had never thought to look at his watch or any of the clocks on the walls ( ... )

She was about to shoot Hope a look before a third party approached, and she couldn't help but to eye that figure curiously, instead. She hadn't come across this person in her short time here, but gauging Hope's reaction, he could be trusted. For now, at least.

After returning his wave with a nod of acknowledgment, Lightning straightened her posture. Before she could add anything else, however, the hospital doors behind them had opened abruptly. She wordlessly looked over her shoulder to assess their final arrival, and after hearing him speak, assumed him to be the "A. Wesker" who sent out the email.

In turn, Jaime couldn't help but notice he was being stared at. It was something that came with the territory of, well...looking like a giant beetle. He cracked a small smile at Hope and Lightning, waving a little hesitantly.

When Wesker emerged, Jaime turned to face him.

"That's us," Jaime answered. "And you must be Mr. Wesker, right?"
