Of course, that wasn't to say that he was really that put out with the sudden change in scenery. For what seemed like years (even though it had only been a night) Harry seemed to be drifting out of one world and into another. He was more worried about Heather's well-being than waking up in some strange place.
And then, to top it all off, now Harry had somehow wound up in some kind of social event, with a tuxedo on. How this had happened, and when he passed out long enough for it to happen, was really up to anyone's imagination. For now, he guessed he would put up with the glitz and lights. He needed to know who his enemies and allies would be for the duration.

It didn't escape Adrian's mind that this social seemed a wonderfully convenient way for all the current residents to be put together in one place: an easy target, and an obvious one. Everyone under a single roof for the night also meant people could band together.
Granted, perhaps Veidt hadn't given the town's unseen directors quite enough credit. It seemed, after all, that they did have some sense of style. Very little thinkable finesse was left out. The construction of the scene was admirable, for what it was.

So far, he wasn't any closer to figuring out the mystery of the corpses than he was the first day he had seen them. Perhaps this...party...would be a mental break. Or perhaps, if the universe were smiling on him, someone would know something. But that rarely happened ( ... )

"Naturally." he responded evenly. "Why, Albert, I'm shocked that your commitments to the hospital hadn't given you cabin fever yet."
The man being unapologetically married to his ambitions and work was certainly something Adrian identified with and admired him for. Though the labcoat and stethoscope were curious choices to accessorise with what looked very much like a suit of Hugo Boss design. Adrian made a small mental note to have a word about this later. It was fashion closely tied to the Nazis, and therefore offensive.* No matter, there were more curious matters he felt compelled to ask.
"Pardon me if this seems an intruding question," Adrian remarked with a glazed politeness, "But I have occasionally wondered. Have you...slept, or ate at all since we came to the town?"
*((oh yes I just did.))

Since those people obviously didn't exist here, at least not anymore, Wesker made full use of them. It was a lot more cushy than what he had in the Umbrella labs.
"I have endured much tinier spaces than having a hospital, and my own office, to myself. I am living like a king compared to the laboratories I used to work in."
Whether Wesker had really any inclination that his clothing may have stemmed from the Nazi regime of Germany or not, was left up in the air. He knew this: it fit well, it looked good, and he was comfortable in it. Which was all he really needed to know. Wesker took ( ... )

He tugged self-consciously on his tie, though, feeling nervous and unsure about why he was there, really. Sure, the letter said that everyone should go, and he wanted some answers about where this place really was, or even what time period it was, but...
He never did very well in social situations.

He, too, had been covered in chunks, but Bell Pointe worked in mysterious ways and Ellis had somehow found himself in a suit. Not a great one, mind you, but it was a suit never the less.
Lips pursed and gun in hand, he followed behind. Ro and Coach must have gotten separated. Circled 'round back to ambush a hoard or somethin'.
"Hey Nick," He whispered, following as close as possible. "These r'livin' people."

"I don't know, Ellis. Even you couldn't have thought of this." He sighed, turning back to scan the room again. "Ro and Coach back there with you?" He wasn't even going to touch Ellis's stunning conclusion that the people here were alive. That was the whole idea of the military evac, after all.

"Nope, but I figure they've gone 'round back. Shit, shit, shit." Ellis mumbles in a small state of awe. Because honestly? He's got nothin'.

She was hesitant to come, initially; but Hope was sweet enough to invite her out to go shopping. High-stepping over mounds of snow, they found S-Mart and each bought an outfit they liked. While Lisa began to feel excited over the event, her mind kept wandering back to the baggy stuffed in her underwear drawer. There was barely a line’s worth left anymore. It worried her to no end and, though she furiously debated with herself, tucked it into her bag.
Lisa lingered by the door for a moment before her pumps carried her toward the punch bowl. Her throat was beginning to feel dry.

"Lisa!"
He offered a sheepish grin and he reached her, nodding awkwardly. "You look pretty!"

“Hope. Thanks.” A hand skated down the length of her dress from the empire waistline to the hem. “You really think so? And look at you; you look much more grown up, except for that hair,” she joked.

"What's wrong with my hair?" He's had the same hairstyle for a little while now, although really, he hadn't really cared about his hairstyle. More like his mom had liked it, so he hadn't minded keeping it that way.
But he shook his head at the thought, and admitted quietly to her. "I didn't think there were that many people in town, though."
