The fact that Daken had known her while she'd never even heard of him unnerved Laura slightly, she wasn't used to being on this end of things. Usually she knew of people but they didn't know of her. It was strange. She wasn't sure if she really liked it. She also wasn't sure if she believed his story about who he was. Which was exactly why she'd decided meeting him in person would be a good idea.

She walked up exactly 11 minutes after he'd hung up and looked him over.

"Hello."

Daken was hardly dressed the way he would have liked, but it was far too cold to wear the clothes he had come in, so he had to make do with the clothes he had picked up several days ago: A beige sweatshirt, pair of blue jeans, black boots. His neck was covered in a nice orange scarf. He'd wear earmuffs, but it hadn't been that cold the last time he had gone shopping.

"Hey there." He grinned. She looked exactly she did in the pictures. "Welcome to Bell Pointe."

He watched her quietly while she scrutinized him. This was to be expected, really, since she didn't know who he was. But he wasn't lying, so he had nothing to hide. Daken even popped his claws to prove his point. He was nothing if not accommodating, especially for his dear little sister.

Laura had arrived in Bell Pointe in clothing she'd been wearing when she'd met Kiden, which hadn't exactly been much: a black halter top, a matching skirt, a jacket with a fuzzy collar that covered her neck and sleeves, fishnet stockings, and black boots. Getting warmer clothes was a top priority.

"Hello." She repeated as she continued to watch him closely as he popped his own claws. They were like hers but they didn't appear to be coated. She lifted her hands up and mirrored his gesture. She left the ones in her feet sheathed for now.

"Yours have not been coated."

[ooc: sorry this is taking so long, it's been a while since I've played her and I'm all nervous, /lame.]

Daken would be lying it he said he didn't look at her claws when she presented them. He had seen (and been on the receiving end of) his father's claws multiple times, but this was the first time he'd seen his sisters up close. They practically could have been his own, with one noticeable difference.

"No, mine are still all natural." His voice might have been a tinge more bitter than he would have liked. He used to have claws better than either Wolverine or X23. But daddy had to take them away...

He allowed them to slide back into his arm and shook off the blood accumulating in his claws' absence. This slowed healing factor was still a major inconvenience. Daken removed his sweatshirt and offered it to Laura, revealing his green button down shirt.

"We wouldn't want you to catch a chill, princess."

[OOC: Aww, don't be nervous. I'm still trying to figure out my Daken muse myself. And you're doing awesome!]
