Awwwwwwww! Despite the snow, I'm melting ;) I just love those furry hoods. And those boots! And the snow looks so white and fresh, not like old snow at all. It really looks as if they had fun! (btw., one of my stories also is called "Fun in the snow", for a moment I thought it was mine LOL)
No idea whether there are gloves for Barbies (probably) - I bought for my Jack O'Neill gloves from GI Joe. They are just black.
Have I ever told you about this action figure theatre community? It is multifandom, we have everything in there: http://action-tales.livejournal.com/
I'm wondering whether your pictures would fit in there as well. Sure, they are not action figures, but I don't see any difference between people dressing their Barbies (or Kens) as Jack & Ianto, or the nice scenes that you are doing. I'm pretty sure the others would like this too, and you might get a few nice feedbacks.
Thank you :) So cool one of your stories is also called "Fun in the snow", great minds think alike ;) Yes, the snow was actually fresh when I was taking the pics.
Thanks for telling me about this community, I joined :) I don't think I'll be posting there as it seems fandom-only but I'll enjoy the stories for sure. But I may take some more pics of my Indy or Star Wars figures in the future. I'm too lazy to take pics of whole stories (although when I play I create some stories), usually I just take some photos.
Omygosh, I just LOVE those jackets! And those Steffie Love boots are just amazing! I've not seen those before. Your threesome look so cute in their winter snow wear. After my experiment with fake snow at Christmas I decided to buy some barbie skis and a sledge for next year - they're all pink though so they need a re-spray but I'm determined to get some good snow scenes next year! You achieved this without props though Mousie and I love your pics. So nice to see you posting again. I'm not often on LJ anymore now I have a blog but I do pop in every so often. Lots of love and Hugs. Sal xx
Thank you :) The jackets were the reason why I went outside to take these pics :) I forgot to write the dolls had more clothes underneath not to freeze. I bought 3 Steffi dolls just for the boots... they're really big and any doll can wear them. Here are the 3 styles I have:
This shoot looks like it was a lot of fun and I love your dollies' fashion sense - stylish but practical! It's so nice to see doll pictures on LJ again, there don't seem to be that many these days
So nice to see you! The shoot was fun but it was too cold to take more pics. My dollies say 'thanks' :) You're right, not much doll pictures on LJ anymore; seems that when I was away from LJ pretty much everyone else left it. It's a shame but I'll keep on posting from time to time, I don't feel like starting another blog or something.
In the current heat wave, winter seems such a distant memory... But I can still remember just how hard it was to get rid of it this year! I love all these pictures - they look so realistic, and with the amount of fun your dollies seem to be having, the eternal grins plastered to their faces suddenly seem very fitting and natural :D The clothes are wonderful, too (your legwarmers included ;p), and the glittering snow looks just magical *___* And it proves to be such a great alternative to doll stands!
Also, the story of the creature living in your parents' allotment is so heart-warming - I bet the little mousie is very thankful and moved by your help :)
