Lovely to see you posting again Mousie! And very interesting to see what doll triggered your grown-up barbie collection! I love that they have dolls of themself! Nice touch and you have so many nice foodstuffs too - loving the pink cake and the chocolate swiss rolls especially! (the 1/6 scale streamers are a great scene-setting touch!)

Thank you and I'm so glad to see you too! I need to catch up with your stories, so many posts I've missed - I wish I could say I'll never again leave LJ ;)
I'm not that much into Barbies these days but I won't stop with dolls, it's my addiction.

It looks like their chatting voice is coming from the pix. (^___^♪
The creams on cakes look real and yummy too. :9

I wonder if PiP Barbies can take off their shoes or not.
I think Barbies in those days were gentle and have class, unlike of these few years whose nerves looks always on edge.

I'm glad to see you on LJ again too! :)))

So nice to see you here too :) I hope you'll get back to posting too but I know you're busy :)

Yes, PiP Barbies can take off their shoes, you can also take out their earrings and rings. Back then the dolls were of much better quality - smooth hair, no paint problems etc.

And I completely agree with what you've said about older dolls having class - the dolls then were so much different. Now it's all about scary make-up and lots of pink and glitter. And low quality. PiP dolls were great to buy as an adult, if I had to choose a doll now I would never start collecting.

Aww, thank you :)
It's funny how my doll interests haven't really changed since then, I still like playline dollies the most :)

Hi dear! I don't know if you remember me, I used to have that my-rockin-dollz livejournal, but then I moved from my parents and had so many life changes, so I kinda forgot about my dolls and stopped paying attention to them. Now, the winter is here and Im spending more time at home again, so I remembered about ur wonderful journal. Wow, what can I say. The recent post and pics and super amazing, you are still my inpiration and im gonna go and buy a couple of new dolls for the new place i live at, maybe start a new collection and do new photoshoots! Thanks so much for the inspiration, darling, I'm your fan!!! <333

Hi! Of course I remember you! I was gone from LJ for a long time and when I got back it was sad to see some people gone, including you :(
Thank you so much for your sweet words. My dolls are still my love and are important to me but I don't have much time for them anymore.
Do you still have all your dolls? It would be so great to see you posting about them again. Everytime I'm too tired of everyday life I take out my toys and feel happy again. I know people's interests and hobbies change but if you think you still find your dolls interesting that's great :) You already are such an interesting person, it's wonderful to see you back at LJ.
