I was struggling to hold the snarky little comments and well, laughter in. I mean, did everyone else catch the look on Angel's face? It really was priceless. The pain evident on his and Chase's face, well, I really didn't need to use binoculars to see it.

I opened my mouth to say something, but then Angel approached and Lindsey shushed us all. Glancing back at Ethan, I made sure that the camera was actually working and getting everything.

It was.

Now, really, not sure which was better? The live show going on here or Illyria's little rage fest at the diner. They both were actually quite amusing.

I watched the scene before me a smile on my face. This was good.

I was dearly bloody hoping that I was taking a smooth picture now, because with an angered vampire approaching, I was reasonably certain that my hands were trembling.

The look on the vampire's face was something that I couldn't believe. There was so much rage, pain and defiance in it, that I was reasonably bloody certain that in no time, he would look into the woods for us, and that some of us, and it was usually the person like me, would be either severely hurt or killed.

I couldn't say anything and just tried to keep my hands steady, and not make a sound.

I didn't have anything against the vampire, against this Angel, but judging by the enjoyment on the faces of Lindsey and Eve, they didn't like him very much.

But yeah, I had that impression, anyway, when they spoke of stringing up one of the vampires' friends up in his own backyard.

I glanced back at Jeter and Damon as Lindsey, myself, and Ethan had wandered away from the scene. We had more then enough footage and well, more then enough of not being caught.

Lindsey caught my arm and asked why Angel couldn't sense us. I was almost worried that Angel would somehow hear that and I glanced back up at Lindsey.A puzzled look crossed my face and I glanced back at Ethan and reiterated the question.

"Why can't he sense us?" I whispered back, before continuing. "Maybe he can and he's just saving himself to really kick our ass?" I whispered, harshly.

"Or .. wait." I said, an idea striking me. I glanced up at Lindsey and raised my brows, eyes opened wide. "You don't think .." I trailed off.

Maybe they had somehow anchored his soul permanently? Or maybe .. he was human? I wrinkled my nose at the thought. Something wasn't right.
