Planted all the herbs and veggies for work's garden and now it's pouring out and thundering. I guess I made it home just in time.

it´s one of my dreams to have a section of our garden full with cooking herbs, so far we only have epazote, coriander and two kinds of oregano, because i haven´t been able to find rosemary seeds and parsley, as far as vegetables goes we have chayote (they look so pretty hanging over the telephone cable) and at least three kinds of chile (habanero, red habanero and chilpaya) small onions and some really small tomatoes (even smaller than cherry tomatoes) as for spices we have a tree of black pepper, and for fruits we have two different kinds of mango tree, an avocado tree, a guanaba tree and a lemon tree.

Wow. You have a lot of neat foods in your garden. Yesterday, I planted parsley, tarragon, basil, thyme, lavender, sage, and rosemary for the herbs. And then gypsie and yellow bell peppers, zucchini, yellow squash; early girl, roma, and yellow pear tomatoes, and long and straight eggplant, which grows like it says and doesn't take on an egg shape like the normal variety does. But there was a whole lot of plants and man holes to be dug and now I'm onto pest control since the rabbits like to nibble at everything. I wish I had fruit trees. Even in my home garden the only fruits I have growing as watermelon and musk melon.

We use to have pumpkin but they never grew really big, i´ll try to post photos next week so that you can see my fathers garden, the only pest we have here is an squirrel who likes to eat everything on sight, so far it has managed to nibble several Mangoes and it has throw several Guanabanas, Dad was spitting mad about it since it´s been difficult to have them grow.

Chipmunks do that to our watermelons. I think the worst they used to do is burrow into it and make a gooey nest. Unfortunately we found one like that only when we cut it up. It wasn't pretty.

I would love to see photos of your garden. I bet they're gorgeous.
