- I want nit-pickers out of my life. There's art criticism and then there's nit-picking. And it is these people that have contributed to my insecurity and hatred for my own work.

- Been thinking about leaving furrytrainwreck. Tired of the drama circuit. Goes along with above statement. Tired of being pestered on IM about latest drama from furries that I really ( Read more... )

Maybe you should take a break from the furry scene all together for awhile? I find it tiresome myself. I like drawing my characters but having to watch what you say because some furry isn't a friend of another and liking something will offend so and so is really annoying sometimes. It's worse than high school drama :S

foxxie pretty much sums it up, seems like everyone needs a break from it right now.

And besides, most of what has been getting posted is hardly worth bothering with, let alone calling amusing.WTF FA is pretty much a bunch of desperates pointing out anatomy wanks,FD2 is just grudge posts or analeigh for the upteenth time. And i think everyone was sick of watching lilenth verbally masturbate the moment she started :/. If you really need a dose of cruel humor, that is what vidya games are for

I think getting some space between you and FTW will help. You might be getting dragged into things because your name is attached to it and people think you're interested.

Staying out of the ugly side is certainly avoidable. I did end up joining a couple of drama comms a few months back to use them as a tool to know who to avoid. Not always just for who is posted about either. I very very rarely comment on anything in these comms and so far so good, no one IMs me out of the blue about idiotic strangers or comes asking me about anything new and juicy. I am too much on the sidelines for real drama mongers to bother with and that is where I'd like to keep it so I limit my participation just so no one gets the wrong idea. :)

As for the nitpicking I have no idea how to be able to pull away from that. I do have one guy on FA who seems to like to make odd comments sometimes that makes me feel nitpicked but its not so obvious that I can't just brush it off. Mostly I just see other people being nitpicked. :c

If you ever need someone to actually crit your work, I'm game! (since your art is awesome and all that, *envy*)

Im getting tired of all the drama too. It's all the same shit, over and over and over again. :/

Gets annoying seeing it all the time.
