Ahh, Yamaha is a good choice. She's a real beauty! I hope she doesn't give you too much trouble haha. I hear Yamahas can have a surprising amount of pull to them. (Not that I would know, I have never ridden one)

She's one that has people arguing for and against as a first bike. On one hand, supposedly she's comfortable to ride, etc.

On the other hand, she IS 600cc. A no-joke ride -_-;

I have the advantage/disadvantage of long legs. I considered a Kawasaki 250 or 500, but they just feel kind of cramped to me (I rode a 125cc for the rider training course, and it made my legs all stiff and sore, haha). So larger bikes are better for my build, but less forgiving ^^;

But, yeah, like I said, I'm def not going to be riding her OUTout for a good while.

Well, on the one hand getting used to this bike as your first will definitely give you an advantage as far as being used to jerkiness and knowing how to handle a powerful machine... On the other hand I wouldn't be taking her out near any cliffs or anything you can smash into lol.

But I think you already have that covered. ;p I'm sure you'll be all rightl; you have a good head on your shoulders and you are a new rider so you don't automatically think you can "handle it". My bff's brother had a horror story happen when he was doing his rider training. There was a woman there who had been riding for 30 years who had just bought a new 600, and her old ride was a 250. She was one of those people who "could handle it". Our island is basically the tip of a giant mountain range sticking out of the ocean... as soon as they started their bikes and revved up to go she rode straight off a cliff and broke her neck.

Yeah..she didn't make it.

...D:

I actually went over today and didn't buy her after all. Cuz he showed me a ton of other bikes and now I just want to compare mooaaarrrr (I mean, I've been doing that already, but still). I swear, by the end of Dec, though...my Xmas gift to myself, lol. They're cheaper round this time of year, too :3
