WELL LOOKIE HERE WHO MIGHT THAT BE.

All right, so maybe Mohinder's looked a tad more clean-cut in his life. He hasn't shaved in days, he's been sleeping in his clothes on his backseat, and at the moment he looks a little more like a serial killer than a distinguished university professor. But he's not sick, and there are not any visible large knives or chainsaws in his car, so that's something?

He pulls over without really thinking--it's just nice to see someone who doesn't look like death warmed over.

"Need some help?"

Honestly, Charlie doesn't care what anyone looks like at this point so long as they have all their bits and pieces and aren't hacking blood and phlegm all over the damn place.

She leans over to peer in the window and grins. "Hey. Yeah, I'm trying to get out of state. Anywhere but here, honestly. Don't suppose I can get a lift? I can pay for gas, if you need that."

Mohinder glances at the fuel gauge. "That would be fantastic, but I think I'm set for a while. Hop in."

He clears some shit--mostly papers and files--off the passenger seat for her. The backseat is hopeless.

"To be honest, I'm not sure where I'm headed either, so I suppose we'll just have to figure it out."

"Thank you so much." She gets in, carefully and sets her backpack on her lap. Then holds out her hand to shake his. "My name's Charlie."
