Elizabeth noticed the trailer in front of the inn when they arrived, but she hasn't really thought too deeply on the subject. It's about eight and she still hasn't eaten any dinner, so she's coming back from her explorations in the town (mostly avoiding other people, as best she could).

Claire waves at her from across the parking lot! Hooray, someone she knows. She starts to cross over to go talk to Elizabeth.

Quite clearly, now is time for Brendan to come out of the trailer with, yes. Another beer. He is not be-suited but he does have paperwork with him. Obviously this lawnchair is his trailer trash office.

Elizabeth is halfway waving back to Claire when Brendan comes out of the trailer. ...This isn't right. She stops, visibly confused. This is new. Why is this different? Why isn't he doing what he always does? She doesn't want to do this in front of Claire, and she's aware she's already drawn attention to herself, so she finishes her faltered wave and starts to walk faster towards Claire.
