All that she knows for now, is that she was in a minor accident, she hit her head, and that she'll be stiff and sore but fine.
"I already called the insurance company, they're sending someone out tomorrow."

"We're making progress: neither one of us has to stay here overnight," he says back.
To tell her now, or later? It's surreal, that the choice is his, that she doesn't know already. As mildly terrifying as it is, too, it's also thrilling, to know he gets to tell her.

All that Juliet knows is that she's been exhausted lately, but she's had no other symptoms, no other signs of pregnancy. The birth control she takes (that is apparently only 99% effective) eliminates a period, there's no reason to suspect.
"Oh, but. I get a new car now," she says with a happier smile.

"You could've just asked for a new one," he teases. He studies her face, tracing her cheek with his thumb. "Can I talk you into coming home with me?" He's in quite the mood tonight: she's okay, and she's pregnant.
