Oh boy. Lionel and his fail!parenting. Yeaaah, that's something Martha has trouble dealing with from time to time. You did an excellent job with her reactions. Martha will always care about anything Lionel has to say, but I don't think he'll ever get genuine sympathy from her in that arena.

No... They both have supremely tragic pasts, losing spouses and children, but I can't see Martha having too much sympathy for the act that Lionel has/had two kids he royally screwed up.

*wonders if SV will ever clone Martha's dead baby... except they've totally forgotten that ever happened*
