I don't have a short story to hand - but I'll share an idea with you. An assassin with dual personalities, both able to be conscious at the same time.

How would you make it work in writing? Would you write it from both perspectives?

My idea was to write it from the point of view of the dominant personality, as it attempts to deal with this secondary personality impinging more and more.

It was in a semi-comic vein, but I trust you could go just about anywhere with it.
