Traffic on I-880 was at a dead stop northbound for dome reason, but we made it.
On The Border, which we wish we had one of in seattle.
a couple of house margerhettas, some chips and salsa, and food on the way.

not a bad convention, but this is a must escape to for us.

The reason is that it is I-880. It is one of the main parking lots in the bay area. Why people choose to spend part of their commute each day parking on something called "interstate", I don't know. But a greater percentage of them choose to do so on Friday evenings...
