Thought i knew van Gogh pretty well, but i had never seen nor heard of this painting. Incredible! Lovely! Mystical!. I have re-posted this to my own journal. The Campbell quote is nice, but nothing can speak about this painting like the painting itself!

Thanks. I was away for part of the summer and then it takes months to catch up. Great to be back. :) Still catching up. :)

:-) catching up can be a task, it has always been a challenge to find time to both write and read, I've been trying to read more than I write, because people have such interesting lives & thoughts. Don't worry about catching up to mine, unless it interests you.

AMEN to everything word by Joseph Campbell.
I feel lifted up when I see work by my favorites. Even if I've seen it a thousand times, Van Gogh can always take my breath away.
