I'm going to have to check it out. I remain, pretty much, cyberly illiterate.

Really? It is a beautiful choice, but I think I'd have to choose one that would allow me to connect to family and friends, like (dare I say) FB?

Alas, like many media websites, it's available to US residents only. :(

I'm glad you chose music, though! Personally, I haven't been able to get into music the last few months. I haven't discovered anyone new, and the things I have on my ipod are either grating on my nerves or making me feel impatient.

Any suggestions?

What types of music are you into? What types of music do you like? The other day I ordered my first song from Itunes! it was from a group that I had never heard of but discovered in one of my pandora stations. I would consider it folk, but my kids think its country. Anyway, here is part of it:

I consider them country, and allmusic.com considers them alternative country-rock. I use that website to help me label bands in iTunes so I have a better handle on the bands I have, rather than broadly labelling them as "country", "rock" or "pop."

I like many types of music; I'm very eclectic. I've started using the iLike app on iTunes, which links to a tab on Facebook, so if you don't mind wandering to my profile and having a look, you will have a better sample of what I've "liked" for quite a few months. Of course, it's only when I've been in the mood and on the computer at the same time!

I like good lyrics, and catchy melodies or rhythms, and e
I like "world" music (even if I can't understand the lyrics). Like what Putamayo samples. Angélique Kidjo and Ali Farka Toure, for example. Mostly I like rock and pop, but I used to listen more to country and folk and punk and classical
