I probably won't watch the debate tonight as I have other plans. Nevada Rep opens this season with two productions--tonight is Juvinilia, tomorrow night is ... something else. I don't have it memorized.

It occurs to me that Afflicted Powers tries to address an issue that Xymphora claims to have plans to address some day:

The US, in a word, is in thrall to the image of its body-double. It is trapped by the logic of its own image-co-dependency. The state believes in Israel the way the addict believes in the next fix.
