I might try another dog. I've got an idea trying it with a pair of regular socks and making it smallish. I want to puzzle out that fish too.

oh yeah, the fish!! i'm sure they are simple enough once you figure out a pattern. You could probably find that book in the library too, it should have instructions for sock fish!
