Since Anthony and I have broken up, I've had mostly incredibly supportive people saying nice things. There's been a couple of exceptions though and while I am sure they were well meant, suggesting that I didn't love him or that he wasn't treating me well is NOT helpful. Whether or not it is healthy for your socialization, I'm sure it will be cleansing and rewarding to have a space you can call your own to do whatever you wish with.

I hate it when people give their critique of a relationship while the wounds are still fresh or insinuate information they could know little about in the scheme of things. I hope that that stops for you.

Living alone can be really cool. Every day off feels like summer vacation used to. Sometimes I miss it. Although, when I get spooked by something ridiculous late at night... I can't imagine living alone. But that really is more of a partner thing than a roommate thing anyhow.
