Having been raised by two professors, both of whom are batshit crazy and completely unable to cope with the real world, I can say with certainty that advanced degrees do not make you a more intelligent or respectable person. Really.
If you do want one, there's nothing stopping you from going back twenty years from now.
And hey, does Douglas give free courses to employees? The Continuing Ed offerings are usually interesting. I'm thinking of sating some of my desires with random courses rather than pursuing anything further.
But otherwise, don't do it for anyone but yourself. :)
