Shonen Knife = good.

Denny's at 3am with Anthony = good.

Getting punched in the back by Anthony = ow (bastard!)

Battle Royale = not as good as the book but still very good.

Sleep = good.

Christmas = nonesistant.

i haed the book of batte royale in comparison to the movie. there was so much more in it that seems so usless and forced, and so fucking typically japanese.

I don't know. I never felt the book seemed forced. It rushed along a lot, but I think that worked given the context and storyline.

I felt nothing forced in the book. I thought the storyline worked much better in book format because of the handling of multiple threads. In the movie you didn't know the kids very well so their dying was rather disconnected and abstract. I kinda got to a point where I was like "how many more do they have to kill off before we can get to the rest of the storyline?"

Still a really good movie.

Maybe it's just that movies are really not my good format for media.
