Well, no, not really well-organised, no, not exactly! Now you mention it and I come to think of it. I suppose I'm just comparing the sprawling disparate feeling of Sundaywith the marches against the Corrie Bill and other anti-choice legislation, which may have felt more cohesive because the groups involved were more similar to one another.
It was a pretty good turnout, I guess - I mean, of course it would have been great if there had been even more people, but it wasn't bad. And a very disparate range of participants!
Have to admit it wasn't really that far for us to go, so easier than for most! It was a pretty good turnout, and a good demo to go to. I'm always in two minds about the Greens, usually partly depending on whether it's a marginal or a "safe" result in whatever the vote is, but I definitely want them there.
Well you would have had a hell of a lot further to travel (unless there was a local one) than I did - just a quick hop on the bus, fer us. I'm glad we were able to go down.

The Green Party increasingly looks the most appealing, come the general election.
