Those boots rock! (Of course I'd have no place to wear them and I lack the coordination to do it without bodily harm.) You, on the other hand, clearly have both. I suspect Adam will approve.
I am loathing Fall too. It means work (school) and then school school (as in grad school). I won't even go buy books. I keep writing fics. I think I'm in denial.

The leaves outside my front window are already starting to change. I have to schedule lots of fall activities to stay busy, otherwise I know I'm gonna get depressed. Apple picking anyone? :D
I finally saw Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (which I absolutely adored) and I screamed when I saw the boot - remembering your post. LOL My husband thought I was nuts... (even though he was ogling the boots and legs attached to them) LOL
Leaves changing is FAIL. I am still in denial about RL and the approach of Autumn. I am procrastinating about grad school and writing fic instead. *sigh*
Why does RL have to be so expensive? I want to retire.
I got a 50mm f1.8 lens for my camera. I'm still unsure about that because while it does improve my low-light shots it's really terrible for indoor shots because I usually can't back up far enough to get everything in frame.
iPads = Awesome, however they also = very expensive. Especially since I'm not sure there's so much point getting one without 3G. I wouldn't have mine without cellular data access. If you do get one then you might like to get the camera adaptor kit too. It lets you plug your camera into the iPad and then view, edit and mail the pics.
Hanging upside down won't be too hard on the plaster, it's the spins that will strain the mounts on the pole but if your landlord is amenable then it should be pretty simple to reinforce the ceiling joists with half-a-dozen strategically placed 6x2s.
Those shoes, who was wearing them? I'd guess Envy Adams but I guess it could be Lynette.
I bought the lens and used it briefly this weekend at my friend's wedding. I really liked it but I do see what you mean, it was hard to use in a small space because I couldn't back up. My friend has one and she loves it, she says she never takes it off her camera. We'll see, I think I'm gonna use it a lot in my photo class.
Honestly, I would get one without 3G because I'm not paying another $30 for a data plan for it when I already have a plan for my iPhone and if I really need to get online I'll just use that. I'm not gonna get one right now because I want to finish paying off my camera and probably buy a Macro lens, but it's definitely in the back of my mind.
I have no idea what any of that means? I haven't tried to put the pole up yet, I'm worried when I do try it isn't going to work.
