Not really. The first compilation movie is out or is about to be out (I can't remember), so maybe that's the reason? It's not even time for the next chapter to come out.

Very creepy Titans, a nice contrast against the despairing Mikasa (I assume it's her).

initially Isayama planned the "everyone dies in the end" scenario.

Did he? Then he maybe he changed his mind because it's not a surprise anymore.

Funny thing is that I didn't really think who exactly I was to draw in it until I draw what I did. Initially it was supposed to be a generic fanart, but somehow I ended up with drawing a female body shape and long dark hair, so yeah, Mikasa I guess. Decided against the scarf in the end. It would destroy the red balance.

He did a few months ago, adding he'd been thinking about changing it. And he probably will, taking into consideration that he's already extended the series in comparison to his original plan. I kinda feel Eren might not make it in the end, though. (Would make sense, right? All Titans must be gone, no exceptions). Which would be kind of original, as usually main characters don't die, especially in the last chapter, even if predictable.

ETA: Also, nice icon :D

It's true that main characters don't die in a shounen series. I was going to say "the death should be logical and tied to the plot" then remembered this is SnK, characters die because it's a war and your favorites will suffer anyway. :D

Pffft, it would be both in Eren's case - logical and tied to the plot :P My opinion at least. Although it's not that I actually want to see it happen.
I dread the time when Isayama starts to get rid of my favs one after the other. It will hurt. A lot.

Just be aware that the story gets a bit strange at some point, starts involving way to much politic and very few Titans >.> The only pro is that less Titans = less character dying. But it still has cool characters *__*

It definitely is. And the anime gives it great visual, I need to admit. Gruesome, too, at the same time.
