My inspiration came when I was browsing through Fanfiction.net after having taken a short break from colouring the picture with Minato and Kushina. I was listening to the OST from the new Naruto Movie (the one from Shippuuden) and then this story just popped out in my head. And for the first time in a long time the story just wrote itself

Oh!<3 that's just lovely! Somehow I want to add a third part to bring the two halves more firmly together (but that's probably just my odd little penchant to round things off a little too well).

Also:
In his mind she's like wind and always brings a scent that he connects with a meadow full of flowers which always smell the most intensely during these long, sunny, summer days.

Great minds think alike XDD I wanted to write the third part; something about these two guardian angels supporting him together, but my muse left me before I managed to do it :/ Next time I'd better chain the muse to something and don't let her/him go :P
