I don't know what people are whining about, Brazilian is not that painful when done by a professional.

Sure, me alone at home = pain, but chocolate wax by a beautician = no problem.

It's wasn't comfy. I felt it, it just wasn't that bad.

I'm not really sure, I've just heard that it can make the area less sensitive. Not completely numb, though!

I did a little research before I decided on a salon to go to. Everybody had high recommendations for this one and the women working there were all over 30 and professionals. I've heard it's absolutely down to the person performing it as well. The woman who did me was very professional and nice so I didn't feel too stupid with my legs spread in front of a stranger. And the chocolate is less painful than that strip wax.

I don't think you destroy the nerves, they say the hair just gets finer and less rooted down. Sometimes the growth even halts in some places...
