Aw! Thanks, Spailpin! (Note I've got the name right this time--just noticed last night D'oh!). I really appreciate your comments on the two parts. I really wanted the scene setting paragragh so I've added a little to ease the transition rather than removed it. As for the 'battering ram' though, I've taken that out as per your suggestions.:D

I'm so glad that you liked the Jean scene, it wasn't until afterwards that I thought of this and wished that I'd added it in for chapter two, but it was too late, lol. I will be posting only at FictionOasis and my weblit blog from now on. I'll keep LJ for personal and friends stuff, I reckon.:) Thanks again!!
