Thank you very much for your kind notice of my blog posts on the topic of Mycenaean defenses. I should emphasize that what I propose is hypothesis only; there's much we don't know about the Mycenaeans including some very basic things. And, in fairness, it wouldn't be possible to take Mycenae or Tiryns 'quite easily'. It would, after all, take an army. But if you did have an army it should be doable. My thoughts are more fully spelt out in the other posts since the beginning of the year. Now I must more fully familiarize myself with your fine blog,
