I see there is a fair amount of discussion of the origins of the Utah monolith - and I can't observe these discussions without thinking, "Yes, it's a cool art project, but it's no crucified bunny made out of toast." You need to have a local tube station to achieve those heights, so any Utah-based artist is working at a disadvantage.

I entirely missed that hot crossed bunny at the time (perhaps not surprisingly given I am not from that area). Did you see that a team of four guys came in the middle of the night and dismantled the monolith, working under a ‘leave no traces’ policy?

I'd heard that the monolith had been removed, but didn't realise that anyone had come forward. It sounds sensible, given how many people had been visiting the site.
