Leaky eyes!

My eyes seem to be permanently leaky. In cold weather they run continuously when I am outside the house, meaning that I look as though I am weeping all the time, and making my glasses all blotchy and my face a bit sore. In hot weather the exact same thing happens

I weep lots when I yawn. People ask if I'm okay, and I say 'Yes, just yawning.' Half of them still look at me like I'm mad!

Mine do, too, as do my father's. But I know how to deal with them, only I keep forgetting. What you do is wring out a clean flannel in hot water - or, better, wring it out in cold and then microwave it for 2 minutes (this sterilises it). Then as soon as it is cool enough - and this happens pretty fast - roll up and press over your eyes for about 30 seconds. If you do this 3 times a day, it really does help. Hmmm, think I'll go and do it now, while I think of it!

Next time you're at the doctors or opticians mention it jsut in case. Mine do it too, but not to that extent, and like Rosie my nose gets very runny
