Little One is complaining of tummy ache and looking languid, and Little Two is still in bed, despite repeated calls from me for the last twenty minutes. We have to leave the house in 15 minutes; he is not going to have time for any breakfast other ( Read more... )

I don't think that sort of calm mummy with a perfectly neat house actually exists, I think it's more something to aim at than actually possible *g*

I've resorted to carrying a notebook with me at all times and I don't even have your excuse! Though I've always rather liked the idea of having a small *brain suddenly goes blank* voice recorder thing, like journalists have... one of our priests carries one in his cassock pocket to record important bits of information. I think some phones have it as a function/application.

In the end it doesn't matter if you are organised or not as long as they and you are happy. I have a notebook too as I forget everything!

I certainly don't know any calm mummies with perfectly neat houses - and I suspect they'd be very boring people that I wouldn't want to know anyway.

I'm sure writing things down and having various calendars is a well thought of time management technique so you are really being very business-like!
