I took my utterly disgusting, bright red, swollen and very painful toe to see the doctor this morning. I now have antibiotic tablets and antibiotic cream to apply as well, which should hopefully get rid of the infection that is clearly raging at the moment

It's not cheating to come home in the car - it's a medical necessity!

It sounds horribly painful - and no doubt the kids will end up bashing it (totally by accident but that's what happens if you've got a sore toe) - lots of hugs and hope it feels better soon

That phone system at the doctors is so unbelievably stupid, isn't it? I had to make an appointment for Kitty this morning, and had to press redial about 10 times. So frustrating. And I'm sure a lot of people's appointments could wait for a few days.

I was hitting redial constantly from 8.28 until just after 9 when Tim finally got through and handed me his phone quick! I couldn't believe there were still appointments left.

You are at the same docs as us aren't you? Grosvenor? or have I made that up in a moment of madness? *grin*
