i'm in germany. the keyboard is different here. i can type ö, ä, ü.

so amsterdam with nikkyb was really good. the city is beautiful. too bad i was half asleep the whole time. we'd slept in the airport the night before. and by slept, i mean katie slept. i stayed up all night. so last night, to catch up, i slept just over 12 hours. glorious

Well, as I sit here in boring Sterling staring out the window at the rain (much-needed, mind you, but still rain), I think that rainy Germany would definitely be a step up :o) Hey, did I tell you that we have a Japanese girl staying with us for a few weeks? Her English is pretty good, but I find I'm explaining a lot of cultural things that you don't even think about when it's your country. But yeah, that's really an aside...
