To Whom It Concerns

Well, I obviously won't be taking part in this dating lottery. But, I'd like to donate money to the hospital's causes. Should I just make a check out to PPTH or...?

Maybe you should take part in it.

It's for charity. It's not like he can twist that into something wrong.

Well... he could. But I'd... nevermind.

It doesn't matter. It just wouldn't be right for a married woman to enter the dating lottery. Besides, I'm not particularly close with any men around her... so, it would just be awkward. No one would bid on the married chick, so I'd prolly end up getting paired up with the guy no one wanted either. Aaaaand, that just might be an infamous doc with a cane...

Joking aside, the only one in this entire hospital I'd want to be be comfortable paired with is you.

Well then, I say we write some checks, skip the dating thing, and just hole up in my room for that entire night. I'll stock up on chips and brownies, and you can let him know you're working late. Really late. Double overtime late.

It'll be like a sleepover... except without the sleeping, since we'll probably be watching movies and pigging out all night.

that and I kinda miss you Say yes and make a poor little cancer patient happy?

I could tell him I'm on call. Covering for another resident.

That would be a definite Yes, Kai-Kai.
