you have this idea of people and who you think they should be, and sometimes it’s just not who they are. You try so hard to be the person you think they need and you start making all of these plans and you just assume everyone’s on the same page as you.

I think this is bang on and really insightful (and, I think, stems from a lot of complex emotions and impulses). Your writing style is lovely; and I very much like all the details you use, seamlessly, to create nuances and atmosphere.

"You weren’t a disappointment," Guh - connecting without quite connecting is so poignant, especially when it's Mark and Lexie.

I really enjoyed this fic; thank you for sharing it.

It's a really good piece, so very like them, saying a lot, but notsaying anything..*sighs* I loved how both of them were vulnerable in their own way
I just hope we see something like this on the show, some interaction dealing with the aftermath of everything
