Juste because (I'm stuck at home with a cold, feeling like I've been hit all over with a baseball bat).

Those are some lovely photos of some lovely things Helen. You have a really good eye for composition.

Hope you feel better soon- perhaps sit in the sunshine for a while, take in that vitamin D!

Unfortunately, it's a bit too cold to sit in the sunshine wearing a tee-shirt. Alas... Still, sunshine is good.

Your pics look great. We have had some warm days and there is some green starting to show on the trees here but this is what the paper has to say about today's weather here: "Snow showers are possible in the morning on a windy and raw Wednesday across south-central Wisconsin, according to forecasters."

ETA: there was snow when I was out this morning - not a lot, but enough that you could see it coming down. Of course, I do remember a big snowstorm back in the early '90s, where I took pics of my lilac bushes in full bloom under the snow (early to midMay for lilacs to be blooming).

What's funny is that your lilacs seem to be blooming around the same time ours are, even though you get snow (which means cold) a lot longer than we do.

It all depends from one year to the other. Last year, Spring came very early (I think the tulips were gone by this time, and when May 1st came, lilies were pretty much over as well. We'll be lucky if we get lily for the first of May this year...)

Tress always take a lot longer to be really green, though, don't they?

Lovely pics! I'm going to some gardens this weekend but my camera won't be able to do them this justice!

ETA: Ooh, new layout. Wow.

Heee, I suddenly got sick of my old layout. Might be spring.

Flowers are surprisingly easy to photograph, why don't you give it a try?

To borrow from a certain breakfast cereal slogan: snap, crackle, pop! These are awesome and very dynamic, literally bursting with color. Too punny?

I hope that you're feeling better, at least half as good as these look. ; )

Heee, well, my voice seems to have disappeared (I wonder where it's gone...) but aside from that, things are well, thanks!

Shhhhhh! No marathon tongue twister sessions. Silence is golden. Maybe your voice took a little vacay? If only it had done the paperwork first. ; )
