I didn't like what TPTB did in seasons 3 and 4 of The West Wing, so I stopped watching after Red Heaven's on Fire. But then, a friend recently gave me her S7 DVDs so I could watch the last few episodes of the series. I will agree, there were weak moments throughout. But the dialogue and characters carried on, and I own all the seasons, and revisit them as a pick me up......

Yeah, for a series that lasted 7 years, there may have been... unfortunate storylines, but overall, it was good. :) Many shows can't claim that much.
