how i spent my afternoon (or, oooh, look! icons!)

Jun 11, 2009 19:27

The story: I took the afternoon off. I didn't feel like reading. So, I started playing with pictures instead, and made a bunch of icons (very basic, because I'm useless with image editing software).

Feel free to take anything you like and make all the modifications you wish. (But please, don't hotlink).

Ooo, pretty. I like 30, it's odd, but cool.

I'd steal but I have icons bulging at the seems!

The Atomium itself is odd but cool (and it's great fun to take pictures of it, because even if you hold your camera upside down and snap a pictures without looking, it still looks pretty).

Ohhh, pretty icons! Love your London and Paris ones. I'm gonna snag your Eiffel Tower one. I've been looking for one of those like forever! The wheel ones for Paris are so pretty. But color me ignorant, I didn't realize Paris got one of those too. =p

The Eiffel Tower looks like a toy here, doesn't it? (Of course, it's not often that it's blue...)

As for the wheel in Paris, the picture was taken in December (Place de la Condorde), so I think it was here only for the holidays. I went once in the April and didn't notice a wheel either. Of course, that time, rain was pouring so I was keeping my head down, but still...

Hehe, now I don't feel such a dork for completely missing such a giant structure while I was in Paris. :p

Yes, that blue Eiffel Tower looks amazing! Did you take that picture yourself? Such a great shot!

By the way, my family and I are going to Paris next month! I can't wait... ;)

Well, it was much more tiny than, say, the London Eye... Still, you could see it from the Tuileries, the Arc the Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower...

Yes, I took that pic myself. It was beautiful--and an unusual look for it, too.

Ooooh, enjoy your time in Paris. A friend of mine went last week. Not that I was jealous or anything.
Not at all.
