I just looked back through my calendar here on LJ. I used to make at least 1 entry per day leading up to when Kristina moved in with me. Now, I make about 1 entry per week. How wonderful that my life is so full & rich now ( Read more... )

I can understand how you might cry over 9/11. It's five-and-a-half years, but it's still very emotional, all this time later. I think most of us still feel that way.

Congrats to Chris. (Um, is that appropriate to wish congratulations for something like that? Hmmm... Probably not. Well, I just hope you're dealing with it okay.)

As for all the people your Mom wants to invite, have you asked her if she's willing to pay for all them?

Personally, I prefer small weddings. When my parents got married, there were only 14 people there. As far as I know, those who were not invited didn't take it personally.

Remember, it's your day, not your mothers.
