01. Great Gatsby Casting

I just joined picspammy and decided to do The Great Gatsby for their current challenge. I tried to choose actors and actresses who not only fit the parts but were also capable of handling them as well.

Cate is an interesting choice also, I'd actually love to see how she worked that role.

THIS IS AMAZING. Seriously. I saw my favorite book cover on my flist and smiled before totally spazzing when I actually saw it. Also, Christian Bale > Brad Pitt as Gatsby. While Gatsby certainly has to be attractive and charming, there is a lot to his history that, in my opinion, makes your choice a much better fit. Honestly, every single selection was amazing so I'm not going to one-by-one it but simply say that you're amazing.

Thanks so much! I definitely know what you mean about Christian > Brad. Gatsby has a gritty past, he's not the polished upper crust and I think Christian could handle that perfectly. I'm sure Brad could do it justice as well, but there's something about Christian where he has the ability to adapt and fit in to different economic stations so well.
