I spent today laying down the background paint on the headboard and foodboard on our camp bed. Then  I did the acanthus leaves on our new sunshade. It felt good to get back to that project.

This evening we had a tasting dinner for the feast. Yay, bunny! Branwen's boys are a hoot.

So, my friends, these are the projects that have consumed my world for the past two months. I'm pretty pleased with how they came out (my terrible calligraphy notwithstanding.) I promise I'll practice more before I calligraph again ;)

So I was looking at pictures to come up with inspiration for the G&G party that callistotoni is throwing...

...and I just want to say that Cranach was the biggest pornographer of the 16th century.

I realize there was this whole event around the Arts and Sciences this weekend, but I decided to stay home and, well,  do Art and Science. The bed rail painting is about halfway done.
