Yeah Starcraft 2 is crap. I've actually begun replaying Braid just for the contrast and the maudlin drinking.

As usual though, the terrible game prompted some memorable commentary with friends:

"But this is clearly not a hos before bros scenario. This is beerbacks* before blacks."

Tosh is a caricature so racist that it's a bit like how Bayonetta

(in fairness i should say that, in fact, hating StarCraft 2 probably has given me more fun and pleasure than enjoying a dozen of the good games. i can riff on the things i hate about it for hours, it's like some people and final fantasy or twilight. nerd hate #1 pasttime of people in need of a shave and aspirin)

While trying not to sound like a total sycophant, I agree with your points. Becuase they actually ring true of my own experiences of Starcraft 2.

In fact, I think I barely got past the single player mission where Tosh was Introduced, and quit playing altogether after that.

man, we should totally talk about this over AIM some time. It's been too long since I had the absolute pleasure of basking in the articulate vitriol of someone who actually knows what they're talking about.
