I fucking hate the new Simply Accounting software. DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What retarded programmers would develop software whereby the users will depend on running reports for everyday functions......BUT NOT ALLOW CUSTOMIZATION OF SAID REPORTS?

Bleh, you guys have to use Simply Accounting? After I started learning/using Quickbooks, I could never go back! It's such an annoying software. >__

Yeah it is really annoying how we can't manipulate the data much (if at all) on Simply. We have to download the reports and re-arrange it in Excel. Blahh.
I used QuickBooks at home, I like it a lot more too!!

Would be cool to get paid to be a copy & paste monkey. Kinda better than being a code monkey and having to program stuff and constantly program in fail-safes because people can't use the software the way you tell them to...

But if I was developing that software, I'd TOTALLY add a mode where you could go in and do whatever...it'd be the "winnie mode"...UNLIMITED POWER! XD

Long story short is on the old version of simply, it provides a NET column which calcs subtotals and such.
But this new one embeds the fucking subtotals within other columns

Which means you simply can't do =SUM(D:D) or wahteever in Excel to get the sum of your entire report.

It also causes Project names to be misaligned with its account rows

BLSHBLAHBLAHLAHBLHB Annoying. I have better things to do than to deal with this bullshit. LOL I'd rather work at mcdonalds than spend all day copy/pasting. Currently trying to do make a macro in excel to automate this crappola! *RAGE*

I love excel and its amazing capabilities. it just pisses me off that this "newer" version of Simply is totally not improved. It is worse than before. DONT FIX WHATS NOT BROKEN!!! I need to run my analysis and not waste my time with this monkey work LOL!!! I managed to make excel take care of most of it now, so......its ok. I am still sorta raging though, I am scaring people here. LOL!!! "DONT TALK TO ME"
