Venice, Anyone? (RL with Dark)

Krad made a mental note to go have a 'chat' with the Niwa boy in the future, but a more pressing issue made itself known. Namely that Dark owned a restaurant. In Venice. And that he worldhopped. Which meant he was using magic ( Read more... )

Dark knew something had to be up when he got a sudden chill, one strong enough to wake him up for his usual 12 o'clock awakening, but brushed it off as nothing. After all, he was supposed to be in the restaurant for the lunch hour, and things would be even more hectic now that tourist season was starting.

He began his day by falling out of bed and face-first onto the floor. Once he had fully woken up, he threw on his clothes and stumbled downstairs, disappearing as he took the easy way and teleported to the back of the restaurant. It was cheap and lazy, but hey, it saved on time. Letting out one last yawn, he rushed into the kitchen and started yelling out orders to the staff. With the kitchen reorganized, he stumbled out to the patio for the best way to wake up - speak to the lady customers.

To see Krad there, though, was more than enough to make him awake. If anything, he'd be up for five days straight. He froze in place, hoping that the long blond hair didn't belong to a certain nutjob, but he knew better.

Krad could feel the eyes on him. No, it wasn't the nervous staff. It was definitely him, he knew it.

Krad felt a smirk cross on his face as he looked up and over at Dark. For the moment, he decided to watch Dark. If he wanted to make a scene, he would run. However, if Dark was willing to keep this civil, he'd walk over. And Krad could be civil.

For the moment.

There was no deny what that chill was now. Dark's hands clenched into fists as he glared at Krad. Who told him where the restaurant was? He hoped Krad was smarter than to pick a fight in the middle of the day in Venice, but he could never be sure. Surely that tea was just there to deceive him.

He stomped over to Krad's table and slammed his hand down, making the saltshakers jump.

"I dunno about you," he sneered, "but I actually have stuff to do today. So get going."

Krad gave a seemingly polite smile at Dark. "Why, Dark. I'm hurt. It's been so long since we have seen each other in person and you greet me so harshly?" He said in a calm tone. It was quite amusing to see Dark so angry.

"All I want to do is talk with you. Of course, I could wait, but I believe some of your staff are a bit...nervous around me. I suppose I was a bit demanding when I arrived," he said with a careless shrug. "However, I won't let that drive me away."
