I feel your pain! I'm currently being treated for a problem with my "Teres Minor". Shoulder/back problems are no fun at all and affect so much of the body. It's no wonder you can't do much. And I know exactly how you feel when you mentioned how weird it must be for people to read your stories then see this. I feel similar. I hate feeling vulnerable at all. But I also realize it helps for others to be aware of what's going on in my life and how it's affecting my work. Kudos to you for being able to do anything at this point! All my best.
